Frequently asked questions

My pelvic floor feels fine. Do I need to see a pelvic floor PT?

The pelvic floor is part of the core system which is the powerhouse for the entire body. Neglecting the pelvic floor is neglecting a true “whole-body” approach. A pelvic floor physical therapist treats many dysfunctions that are specific to the pelvic floor, but we also pride ourselves in the ability to take a true whole-body approach to get to the ROOT cause of whatever symptoms you may be facing even outside of the pelvic floor.

Do I need a referral to begin therapy?

No referral needed. Once you schedule your appointment, we can begin therapy. For our Oklahoma ladies, we will work on your behalf to get an appropriate signature on our plan of care within the first 30 days of treatment, per Oklahoma practice guidelines.

Why Are you trending to a self pay only model?

Presently, our Arkansas clinic is only self pay and our Oklahoma clinic bills to BCBS and HealthChoice. Both offices will be only self pay January 2027.

We believe your healthcare should be centered around you, not the system. Our self pay model allows us to spend more time listening, evaluating, and creating a plan based on your individual needs and goals, rather than allowing outside limitations to determine your care.

We work for you, not the system. This gives us the freedom to provide unrushed, individualized care and walk alongside you through every season of life.

We accept HSA and FSA funds and provide detailed receipts that you may submit to your health plan for potential reimbursement, depending on your individual benefits.

How many visits before I feel better?

Our goal is for you to begin seeing changes as early as visit one. Ideally, we want you to notice substantial differences in how you are moving and feeling within the first few sessions. We guarantee to put forth additional time, research, and effort to get to the source of your symptoms.

How often will I need to come to therapy?

Most patient’s begin coming to therapy biweekly-monthly, with frequency being reduced as appropriate. We discuss your progress at each visit. YOU are ultimately in control of how often you come to therapy. We are here to give you our professional recommendation.

Will I receive a home program?

Each visit we will review your home program. These are individualized exercises and manual techniques based upon your presentation. It is expected that you are compliant with your home program to allow for progression each therapy session. Compliance results in the best outcomes!

Who will I see during my visits?

Each visit you will spend your full session with the doctor you established care with. No technicians are utilized and you will not be left on any machines unattended. We believe being present and hands-on with the patient at all times is crucial.
