Pelvic Health Care

Your pelvic health matters in every season of life. You do not have to be pregnant, postpartum, or experiencing a major diagnosis to benefit from pelvic health physical therapy. If something feels different, painful, or limiting, you deserve to understand why and know what you can do about it.

At Perfect Peace, we provide whole woman pelvic health care designed around your body, your goals, and your life. We look beyond a single symptom to understand how your pelvic floor, core, hips, spine, breathing, strength, and movement all work together.

What we address

Pelvic health physical therapy may be helpful if you are experiencing:

  • Pelvic, abdominal, low back, hip, or tailbone pain
  • Painful periods or pelvic pain associated with endometriosis, PCOS, IC, or other conditions
  • Pain with sexual activity or tampon insertion
  • Urinary leakage, urgency, frequency, or difficulty emptying your bladder
  • Constipation, fecal leakage, or pain or difficulty with bowel movements
  • Pelvic pressure, heaviness, or pelvic organ prolapse
  • Diastasis recti or difficulty with core strength and function
  • Fertility and family planning concerns, including preparing your body for pregnancy
  • Recovery following pregnancy loss
  • Difficulty returning to exercise or a desire to improve strength, fitness, and performance
  • Pain, weakness, or movement limitations that interfere with the activities you love

Your care begins with a comprehensive evaluation and an individualized plan based on your unique needs. Treatment may include pelvic floor rehabilitation, strength and fitness programming, manual therapy, mobility work, nervous system regulation, and education to help you better understand and care for your body.

You don't have to wait until a problem becomes severe, and you don't have to be told that something is simply “normal for women.” If it is affecting your life, it is worth talking about.

Our goal is to help you feel confident in your body, move without fear, and live fully in every season of life.
