Pregnancy and postpartum are incredible seasons, but that doesn't mean you have to simply accept pain, discomfort, or limitations as part of the process. Your body is changing, preparing, healing, and adapting, and you deserve support along the way.
At Perfect Peace, we believe pelvic health physical therapy should be proactive, not just something you seek when something goes wrong. Our pregnancy and postpartum care is designed to help you feel confident in your changing body, prepare for birth, and support your recovery after delivery.

Whether you are experiencing pain or simply want to prepare your body for birth, our pregnancy wellness visits provide individualized care based on your stage of pregnancy, your body, your goals, and your baby's position.
Your care may include therapeutic exercise, pelvic floor training, manual therapy, education, and personalized movement strategies to help you stay strong and comfortable throughout pregnancy and prepare for labor. We may also address back, pelvic, hip, or rib pain, incontinence, constipation, sleep positions, and other common pregnancy concerns.
We can also provide education and support around breastfeeding positions, perineal massage, bracing, kinesiotaping, and strategies for navigating the physical changes of pregnancy.

Your body was designed for pregnancy and birth, and it has an incredible capacity to heal. Whether you have a vaginal birth or Cesarean birth, postpartum pelvic floor therapy can help support that healing process.
We recommend a postpartum wellness visit as early as two weeks after birth, even though an internal pelvic floor assessment is reserved until you have been cleared by your birth provider. Your early visits can focus on your immediate recovery, movement, pain, feeding positions, and returning to daily activities.
As your body heals, we may address diastasis recti, pelvic floor dysfunction, pelvic heaviness or prolapse, urinary leakage, scar tissue, musculoskeletal pain, and returning to exercise and the activities you love. Care may include individualized deep core and pelvic floor rehabilitation, manual therapy, scar tissue work, movement education, and, when appropriate, ultrasound or manual lymphatic drainage for clogged milk ducts.
Our goal is not simply to help you “get your old body back.” It is to help you understand, care for, and confidently reconnect with the body you have now.
